We spent Memorial Day with our friends in Winthrop. We hiked a ton (around 15 miles), saw our first rodeo, and took Katilins Senior Pictures (these will be posted soon!). All in all it was a great weekend and we had so much fun (thank you Ladies for having us! scroll down to see some of that crazy hike – Krissy there is one you will love, its awesome!)

These 2 does were no more than 10 feet from us – they let us walk right up to them!

by Steve: so this is the flower that we took this hike to photograph… and we only found one… until we get back to almost the beginning of the hike and find a whole patch of them!
we went back to the same spot 3 days in a row for him to get a shot of this groundhog
I love these next 2 shots he got!
So this is on top of a gorge (as in aprox 300 ft drop off to a river and waterfall). The rest of us didnt go down to look
